Our first official week in the new space has ended and a new workweek has begun, but I can’t stop thinking about the beautiful work we’ve been creating. Our nail team is kickass- seriously if you haven’t booked yet, you’re missing out. I’ve never seen such beautiful work, and provided by such lovely people too!
We have also turned in the keys to Sola, closing on that chapter for good. While salon suites seemed like a good idea at the time, and Sola provided a starting space for us, it became impossible to afford! We’ve been so fortunate to gain the following we have and the dedicated clientele who come from all over the surrounding states to see us, but it still wasn’t enough. The math just wasn’t math-ing, as the Internet says. The space we have moved into is far more reasonable in cost and much larger, giving us space for more service capabilities and an additional stylist on every day.
If you haven’t stopped by to see the new salon, please do! A great time to come by would be between 4 and 8 on 9/21- we’re having a freakshow themed opening party! We’ll have drinks, raffles, games, a costume contest and our friend Onyx Ondyx, who is an incredible drag artist and beautiful (but weird) light in the Philly community, to entertain you.
